The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted a raid at a cruise in Mumbai and seized drugs on 02-10-2021 . Many high-profile kids and people were taken into custody by the agency for questioning and one among them was Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan. Earlier, Aryan's name was not confirmed and there were only speculations around the same. But later, the agency released the name of all the people who were taken for questioning, and Aryan's name was included in the list. 

Now, after hours of questioning, Aryan has been arrested by NCB and has been taken for a medical test. 3 out of 8 who were questioned have now been arrested, and the list includes Aryan's name. The visuals of Aryan being taken for the medical test have now surfaced online. A police officer was seen holding Aryan's hand while taking him for the medical test. 

As per reports, all 3 are to be taken to JJ hospital for medical tests and will later be produced before the court. NCB is proceeding with the case under section 27 of the NDPS Act against all the eight accused.

NCB Mumbai Director Sameer Wankhede had earlier issued a statement confirming that Aryan was involved in the party and he is currently in the NCB office in Mumbai. Apart from Aryan, 8 people (6 boys and 2 girls) were detained by the agency namely - Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, Gomit Chopra."

According to official , "This case is very critical for NCB because an offence can be only registered if those who have been detained were found consuming the narcotics the substance or trading. If they are found only consuming then they will be slapped with minor charges but if they are found trading then they would be charged with serious offenses. NCB wants to nab the kingpin."

Narcotics Control Bureau's sources went on to say that if someone has only consumed narcotics but not traded, they will be produced in court and can get bail under the NDPS Act, but they need to sign a bond.

The source also said that, "We are looking for the source of contraband and drugs that is why we have detained them. Few are regular users but get their "supply" from friends who in turn from others, we are looking at a long supply chain, which will require investigation."

Earlier, there were reports that Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have reached the NCB office, but there was no confirmation on the same. The two are yet to release a statement on the same.
