     Former panchayat member P M Mukundan (63), a resident of Thelappally, had received a revenue recovery notice a few days ago. However, he was unable to repay the loan. Mukundan was found dead at his house on Thursday morning.

His relatives alleged that Mukundan had taken a loan of Rs 25 lakhs. However, he was asked to repay Rs 80 lakhs even he return almost amount . As per record his loan not credited the amoun Mukundan paid to his loan .Mukundan was under depression owing to the relentless torture of bank officials. The bank collapsed owing to the huge financial irregularities. This ended up sending recovery notices to all who failed to repay loans.
