The ‘Morning Consult’ regularly tracks approval ratings of world leaders PM Modi's in first position ; Draghi, López Obrador , Morrison, Merkel, Biden is behind

       Morning Consult Political Intelligence is currently tracking the approval rating for governmental leaders in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Approval ratings are based on a seven-day moving average of adult residents in each country, and samples sizes vary by country.


The ‘Morning Consult’ regularly tracks approval ratings of world leaders. The second position was bagged by Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi (65%), followed by Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (63%), Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison (54%), German Chacellor Angela Merkel (53%), US President Joe Biden (53%), Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (48%), UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson (44%), South Korean President Moon Jae-In (37%), Spanish Spain Pedro Sánchez (36%), Brazilian President Jaire Bolsonaro (35%), French President Emmanuel Macron (35%) and Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga (29%).

Same time Prime Minister Narendra Modi's approval ratings have dipped to 66% from the previous 82% in August 2019 when the Centre announced the abrogation of Article 370 and bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir, according to the Morning Consult, a global leader approval tracker.

At 66%, PM Modi’s approval continues to be ahead of other global leaders, according to the survey conducted by the American data intelligence firm. The Morning Consult shows PM Modi is ahead of other world leaders of 13 countries, including the US, the UK, Russia, Australia, Canada, Brazil, France and Germany.
